This Paverpol Wacky Birds workshop is for both beginners and intermediates.
In this case, you will not be using cotton t-shirts that are usually associated with working with Paverpol. You will be painting with Paverpol. You will also learn how to mix Paverplast and Art Stone with Paverpol to create clay. The wacky wings on the side of the long-legged bird are Paverclay.

Wacky Wings

You can use three different mediums for your Paverpol wacky bird wings; aluminum (for metal embossing), Paverclay, or masking tape. Use the same medium for all the wings or feathers, or mix up the mediums you use for your wings. The blue sitting bird has both metal embossing wings, aluminum, and masking tape wings. The side wings are aluminum, and the single feather on the head is from masking tape.  The wacky long-legged bird has Paverclay wings on the side, and the tail feathers are aluminum.
You don’t need any experience working with aluminum. You will use a metal embossing technique called mark making to add texture to the aluminum. Once you have enough marks on the aluminum, blackening will complete your metal embossing wings. These metal embossing feathers can add that little extra to your bird.
All supplies are included for the Paverpol Wacky Birds.
NOTE: There were requests to split the workshop in two. One day you will create your Paverpol wacky bird and return for another workshop to paint, complete the wings and add the finishing touches. After much consideration, you can now choose between completing your wacky bird in one day or break it up into two workshops. However, for the two-day option, there will be an additional $10.00 studio fee added to the cost of the workshop.
