Create a Standing or Sitting Figure

Choose from creating a standing or a sitting figure sculptor for this workshop.
To begin with, you will complete a wire armature human figure for your Paverpol figure sculpture and adjust it, resembling the sculpture form of choice. After, you will be adding “body” to the wire armature using aluminum foil and masking tape. Next, with the wire armature human figure body completed, it’s time to move on to working with Paverpol.
What is Paverpol? Paverpol is a water-based textile hardener and environmentally friendly. In addition to being ecologically friendly, Paverpol, providing proper application and sealed after curing, can be placed outside. It can withstand cold winters, including snow, ideal for garden sculptures. To summarize, what is Paverpol – it is an environmentally friendly textile hardener that can withstand weather elements.
You will dress your figure sculpture using cotton t-shirt strips dipped into Paverpol. However, if you decide to provide your own natural textiles, you will use those to dress your sculpture.
After drying for a couple of minutes, you will move on to adding color to your Paverpol figure sculpture. We will look at the different options to add color to the sculptures. In addition to adding color, you will also add embellishments when you bring some with, at this point.
Have a look and see how you can use Paverpol, combined with other Paverpol products to create wacky birds.
Lastly, take your sculpture home to cure—the Paverpol needs to cure for a minimum of two weeks before you seal it. Once sealed, it is ready for your garden or any indoor spot of your choice.
